Job Description - Quality Control Analyst

Reports To: Manager of Quality and IT
Purpose & Scope:
The quality control analyst will ensure that Wilson Company’s products meet customer requirements by way of inspection, testing, and validation of functionality at specified intervals and prior to final shipment to the customer. This detail-oriented person will also support key elements of the Quality Management System outlined in the responsibilities below.
Key Responsibilities:
Using inspection and test plans, ensure products are assembled per customer specification. Provide final Quality Approval for inspected orders.
Support the Quality Management System by conducting internal audits of processes.
Follow up on and provide closure to logged non-conformances and SCARs.
Represent Wilson Company when responding to customer reports of non-conformances.
Support the QMS by ensuring records are kept up to date.
Monitor and update QMS metrics.
Identify and drive process improvement opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to interpret AutoCAD drawings.
Familiar with creating and using inspection and test plans.
Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
Understanding of quality concepts and tools.
Experience participating in internal audits.
Ability to work independently, when needed, as well as collaborate with a cross-functional team.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Has a professional, courteous manner and a positive attitude.
Education and/or Experience Level:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
