Wilson Company’s 3 day hands-on basic course gives students a greater understanding of hydraulics, how it’s applied and troubleshooting techniques

Course Outline

Class is structured to provide students with a fundamental understanding of industrial hydraulics. Participants will understand how hydraulic systems and components work, read and draw basic hydraulic schematics, learn general troubleshooting methodology and standard practices. A training book and lab manual are provided.

Material Content

Learn about hydraulic transmission of force and energy, hydraulic fluids, actuators, pumps, control of hydraulic energy, flow control valves, pressure & directional control valves, filtration, hydraulic circuitry and participate in hands-on lab exercises to reinforce course material.

Class Schedule:

Class sessions usually begin at 8:00AM each day and will end no later than 4:00PM. Lunch will be provided and is included in the tuition. There will be regular breaks with soft drinks, coffee and bottled water. The student will receive a Certificate of Completion for attending all three sessions.
