Summary / Objective:
Responsible for bringing Wilson Company’s ecommerce presence into the digital mainstream by building out the sales channel. He/she will build, maintain, monitor, and recommend strategies that transform these capabilities into a value-driven web sales channel that is strategically aligned with the existing business. Responsible for quality and operations activities for various digital services that support the customer experience.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining public-facing written content for targeted audiences. Maintains the external website, including creating and maintaining web pages, motion control products, modules, tabs, links, and other navigation tools.
- Create wireframes/mockups
- Build, manage and maintaining a complete online catalog that provides valuable product information and resources to our customers. This may include working with internal resources, customers, suppliers and third parties.
- Creates and updates pages and content. Creates content strategies specific to target audiences, includes conducting market research and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies.
- Creates engaging, sharable content across all content channels, including social media platforms, website and mobile apps.
- Ensures website design and content meet style guide, user-experience, and graphics standards
- Create and adhere to regular audit and review of website content to ensure accuracy and consistency with branding, user experience design principles, and edit and cull content based on site traffic and research patterns. This includes checking for broken links, outdated information, and incorrect style/template; developing a schedule for retiring pages no longer in use; and troubleshooting plug-in issues/updates;
- Tests website accessibility and functionality from a variety of environments;
- Work closely with marketing and sales associates to support digital components of marketing / sales campaigns.
- Monitor web systems for potential issues and implement quick resolutions. Maintain a high level of quality assurance in the web channel.
- Build new user experiences and address customer feedback
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must have experience in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and Bootstrap
- Understanding front end design patterns and incorporating them in the codebase.
- Discipline to document ideas and code in a clear, comprehensive, and organized manner
- Experience optimizing code for site speed and performance.
- Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Dreamweaver
- Has a courteous manner and a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3-4 years equivalent work experience.
Pay: $30,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
