Dual-Purpose Fluid Level / Temperature Gauges Fluid level / temperature gauges utilize a universal fixing that is designed for front or rear tank mounting. The gauges are available in three sizes each with two-hole mounting at 76mm, 127mm and 254mm centers. After positioning the gauge, the bolts are simply tightened to provide a secure seal. Square section seals minimize the likelihood of leakage while the two-point mounting system eliminates problems with tank distortion. Fluid level / temperature gauges feature a one-piece high-visibility lens for added security. The lens is molded in shatterproof, transparent polyamide to ensure accurate and clear oil level and temperature indication. FL Series float switches can be tailored by the user for a particular application, by adjusting the length of the float switch tube. It is also possible for the user to select the switching configuration by inverting the float, giving either andldquo;open on riseandrdquo; or andldquo;close on riseandrdquo; operation. The unit is supplied partially assembled, with detailed instructions for the user to complete assembly to the specifications of the application and to install the unit. The switch is an active device designed to send an alarm signal if fluid falls below a pre-set level. The level switch has no moving parts, which minimizes its footprint and makes it suitable for applications where space and access inside vessels is limited. The CLS46 Series also features a built-in delay, making it an effective alternative to mechanically operated switches, which can often mis-trigger due to vibration and /or fluid turbulence. Suitable for use with mineral oils typically used in engines or hydraulic actuators compatible with brass, PTFE and NBR.
